Amazon Go Redefines Shopping Experience

Officially open for business, Amazon’s visionary grocery store creates an experience like no other.

Shoppers enter through gates by scanning the store’s app and simply walk out when they’re done. No carts, no waiting in line, no payment process.

The store is covered in cameras, sensors and machine learning software, tracking items as they are taken and adding them to an online cart.

Amazon says its technology changes the roles of employees. Tasks now include restocking shelves and helping customers troubleshoot any issues.

The company has yet to announce if they plan to open more Go stores or if they will sell the technology to other chains.
