An estimated 1.8 million Girl Scouts are setting up booths and knocking on doors across the country with the ultimate goal of enticing taste buds.
The Girl Scouts sell roughly 200 million boxes each year, generating about $800 million dollars that funds community projects, activities and donations.
S’mores made its triumphant return this year, along with fan-favorites Samoas and Tagalongs, but Thin Mints remain the cookie to beat with an estimated 50 million boxes sold last year.
Dunkin Donuts is now offering three coffee flavors inspired by the tasty treat: Thin Mints, Coconut Caramel and Peanut Butter Cookies.
The trio of flavors will be available in hot or iced coffees, lattes, macchiatos, frozen coffee and frozen chocolate.
