Firefighters in Fresno and other parts of California are being given free tickets to Disneyland for their efforts battling the intense wildfires.
618 “park hopper” tickets were given to the Fresno fire station, which will allow 309 firefighters and a guest to enjoy any of the parks.
The tickets are valued at $167 a piece, which brings Disney’s total donation in Fresno to $103,000.
Fresno Fire Chief Kerri Donis said, “it really came out of the blue…it’s a special gesture that Disney is doing for us.”
While Disneyland was in no immediate danger, the 400 square miles of wildfires cast a spooky orange glow over the park.
