Kroger and Walmart go Cashier-less

To make their stores cashier-less, grocery giant Kroger plans to roll out its “scan, bag, go” plan to 400 stores later this year.

Walmart is also expanding its “Scan & Go” technology to an additional 100 locations across the U.S.

Grocery chains across the country are finding ways to cut costs and make the shopping experience more enjoyable.

Internet giant Amazon has been piloting a store without checkout lines, called Amazon Go, near its Seattle headquarters.
