A McDonald’s just outside L.A. has flipped its iconic golden arches to a “W” for International Women’s Day.
McDonald’s says it’s flipping its logo “in honor of the extraordinary accomplishments of women everywhere.”
The Lynwood McDonald’s is managed by a woman.
More than 100 McDonald’s locations across the country will feature the “W” logo on packaging, uniforms and more.
But the Lynwood location is the only one that is flipping it’s external signs.
In a statement, McDonald’s said that 6 out of 10 managers in the U.S. restaurants are women.
In recent years, companies have started using International Women’s Day to broadcast their views on gender equality.
