Pizza Hut started testing beer delivery in Phoenix and intends to add wine in January 2018.
Customers are able to order six packs of Budweiser, Bud Light, Shocktop and other local craft beers.
Phoenix was selected as the test market because it already had locations that served alcohol and because the area consistently mimics customer behaviour patters seen nationwide.
The decision to add alcohol delivery comes as Pizza Hut, and parent company Yum Brands, looks to distinguish itself from competitors like Domino’s.
