Red Lobster’s Culinary Twist

Red Lobster is putting its spin on a southern staple – chicken and waffles.

Instead of poultry, the seafood chain is dishing up a fried Maine lobster tail.

The waffle is made from the same mix used in its famous Cheddar Bay biscuits.

Topped with maple syrup, your diet will take a 1,080-calorie hit.

You will also have to fork over $20 for the latest addition to the Lobsterfest menu.

This savory-sweet combo is only available for a limited time.

Red Lobster is celebrating its 50th anniversary.  The first restaurant opened in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
