Violent Storm Floods Midwest

A violent storm system that stretched from Texas to Canada has left many cities devastated.

The storms destroyed homes and forced many people to abandon their cars in flooded areas. So far five people have died.

Floodwaters on the Ohio River in Louisville and Cincinnati are at a 20 year high, about 22 feet above normal.

Emergency crews across the impacted areas were inundated with calls for help, which were multiplying by the hour.

Flooding is expected to continue throughout the week as more rain is forecasted.
